Engine Services include the following:

-Custom engine building of Ford, GM, & Mopar automotive and truck engines for circle track, drag, marine, sports car & street, from balanced rotating assemblies, short blocks, long blocks, to complete engines, carb to pan

-Electronic & mechanical fuel injection preparation & tuning

-Engine blueprinting for marine, street or track

-Engine teardowns and inspections

-Race preparation

-Specialized engine diagnostics

-Stock replacement automotive and marine engine building

-Super-/turbocharged engines for all applications

All Engine Services are subject to charge on a case by case basis

 Engine Dyno Services include the following:

-We can test almost any brand of domestic V8 engine from street to fuel injected to super-/turbocharged race engines and have the adapters & headers for most combinations, including self-starting & dry sumps

-Setup, including installing the engine on our Superflow SF-901 dyno with fuel hookups, headers & exhaust, and ignition

-Running time, including break-in, oil change, engine power testing, including acceleration and/or step tests, carburetor recalibration, and timing optimization

-Teardown, including draining water and fuel, and readying engine for transport

-All the above includes the services of one technician

Engine dyno service rate is $82.00 per hour or $625.00 per 8 (eight) hours for single carburetor applications: Multiple carburetors, electronic & mechanical fuel injection, super-/turbocharged applications and all others subject to charge on a case by case basis

Engine machine work:

All of Performance Solutions engine machine work, whether it be for a stock,  performance, or race engine, is performed by Mulder’s Auto Machine, a second generation, Boise-based company known for pride in workmanship and top-quality automotive machining since 1968. Cylinder Head Services include the following:

-Aluminum head repair

-Cylinder head porting & blueprinting

-Flow testing

-Resurface & square deck surfaces

-Screw-in rocker stud/guideplate conversions

-Stock & performance multi-angle valve jobs

-Spring seat machining & head preparation, in both cast iron & aluminum

-Valve guide replacement & modifications

-Valve seat repair & replacement
